MARS Viersen – Factory Expansion and Modernization NRW, Germany
Main Objective:
Expansion and modernization of the existing MARS production facility to increase capacity, improve logistics efficiency, and upgrade safety and operational infrastructure.
Project Scope Includes:
Construction of new production halls and logistics areas
Structural modification of existing factory zones
Installation of new steel structures (e.g., mezzanine platforms, pipe racks)
Coordination of dismantling and rebuilding works in operational zones
Tower crane and mobile crane operations within tight logistics zones
Integration of new floor slab systems and coatings (including in hygiene-critical areas)
Safety net installations, temporary edge protections, and working at height measures
Interface management with factory operations and other contractors
Critical access coordination and scheduling with plant logistics team
Strict adherence to MARS safety procedures, TRA/JSEA approvals, and work permits

Continuous production in adjacent factory areas requires precise scheduling and safety measures
Close coordination with MARS logistics and HSE managers is mandatory for any work in or around production zones
